Going Cycling

First week of May I will be off for a few days cycling the Central Otago Rail Trail with Geoff Gabites from Adventure South, and various other people from within the tourism industry.  Got to say that I am really looking forward to it.  Geoff's team having been bringing guests to River Valley for a few years now and Adventure South have been a great company to have been involved with.  Can't say that I am training as hard as I should be, but as they say, I am sure everything will be alright on the night.

Other news here is that it has got dry again, pretty late in the season for this to happen, and a bit of a worry for farmers and rafters.  The upside is that we are getting a string of glorious autumn days, fresh in the morning, warm in the middle of the day, and cool at night, so if you are just looking for some R&R, now could be the time.

Last bit of news is that our first (and only) grand daughter, Isla, turned 1 year old a couple of days.  Being a Grandad really is fantastic.
