Imagine an Award winning New Zealand Adventure Lodge situated in stunning scenery. When you stay with us, get out of your comfort zone into a world of outdoor experiences and and fun with one of our adventure activities. First opened in 1987 as accommodation for white water rafters, River Valley Lodge has been consistantly upgraded over the years. Accommodation options now, are a blend of bunkrooms - (mostly for young adventurers) -, comfortable double rooms, and tasteful guest rooms with private bathrooms.

There is really no where else quite like it.

River Valley Lodge is a great place for you to meet people from all over the world or simply relax in the gardens, or beside the river. The Lodge is both the starting and finishing point for all your adventures, as well as the venue for our Rejuvenation Centre based at the River Valley Spa, and the Creative Zone for our workshops and retreats. To perfectly round out a day of adventuring, you can enjoy a fresh country style meal at the Lodge Cafe, or a quiet drink comparing notes with fellow adventurers.

River Valley Lodge is also a great venue for small conferences or business retreats.
